Heller Bikes has added to their lineup with the Shagamaw. The 27.5+ Boost 148 trail rig is built around a 130mm fork pair with a 67.6 degree head tube angle. Retailers will be gathering more information and getting their first looks this weekend as they head to Frost Bike, the annual winter QBP trade show.
Heller is excited to announce Shagamaw—the bold, new trail-ready bike designed to devour your local singletrack. Shagamaw is a 27.5+ carbon hardtail designed with Boost spacing, modern geometry for up to 130mm travel suspension forks, and build options with SRAM GX1 or Shimano Deore. Heller Brand Manager, Bobby Dahlberg says, “At the heart of Shagamaw is the carbon frame which is perfect for the rider whose number-one goal is trail-ripping fun. Blending the 27.5+ wheel and tire platform with modern trail geometry provides an outstanding balance of traction and fast rolling speed.This bike is simply a blast to ride.” Shagamaw can also accommodate 29″ wheels and tires up to 2.5″ for added versatility. Other frame details include full internal cable routing, ports for a dropper post, and Shimano Di2 compatibility in 1x drivetrain con gurations.

Look for Shagamaw to hit stores—and trails—in late spring of 2016. Price: GX build at $2,599 and Deore build at $1,999.
