NAHBS 2016 was a blast. There were a lot of familiar faces and a lot of what you’d expect to see at a show full of handmade bikes. There was a healthy mixture of disciplines represented, although I expected to see more off-road touring bikes than I did. Bikepacking is growing, but road bikes are still very popular.
That being said, there were a solid handful of bikes designed to explore far off places. I grabbed some photos of bags mostly and a couple bikes while I walked the floor. Revelate and Porcelain Rocket were well represented although I saw a couple offerings from Randi Jo Fabrications, Carsick Designs, Bedrock, PDW, and Andrew The Maker.

Bradford. I was a bit confused by the dropper post (and the seatbag attached to it…) on this drop bar dirt tourer, but I bet it adds some real kick to descents.Swift Industries panniers on an Elephant “National Forest Explorer” featuring Gevenalle shifters.Andrew the Maker had a couple bags over at Oddity Cycles. This nifty little frame bag looked perfect on this bike.The lacing trend is interesting. These two frame bags fit so well together on this frame that the middle tube is almost completely hidden.Andrew the Maker seatbagThis Revelo frame bag caught my eye. The colors matched this REEB Cycles shredder.
