Moots Moots has a couple of real stunners at the show. The new Mountaineer YBB + will be ready to rip, once it moves into production this coming winter. It features an updated YBB unit, Boost 148 spacing, and is built to carry gear. The hidden frame bag mounts on the top tube is a nice touch. The snow camo bags by Porcelain Rocket really put this bike in it’s own category here at the show.

But that shouldn’t take any steam out of the new Route 45. Where the Mountaineer YBB + is a go-anywhere bikepacking rig, the Route 45 is a bit more at home on doubletrack and dirt roads. That being said, I wouldn’t hesitate to play on singletrack thanks to the thru axles, a 44mm headtube, and the ability to run up to a 45mm tire. The Routt 45 is also designed to carry gear, making this another great option from Moots.
