Join in for a cue-card-navigated, self-supported gravel ride over punchy Minnesota gravel roads for the third annual Le Grand Du Nord.  Route options have changed for 2018 with 120 miles, 66, and even a 20 mile event.  Starting and finishing in Grand Marais and supported by Voyageur Brewing Company expect good beers and good times before and after the event.  Head north and enjoy the beauty of a Minnesota spring.

The Tuscany Trail is the first "adventure" (not a race) of this kind in Italy. The TT is an unsupported bicycle adventure. 2018 will be the fith edition. Ushering in bikepacking to Switzerland, the Navad 1000 travels over 1,000 km from Romanshorn to Montreux.  Following bikepacking rules, as their website says, "if you cannot do it without external support, better not to enter."  Being totally self-supported provides ample opportunity for riders to connect with the sheer beauty of the Swiss countryside.  22 riders finished the 2017 edition with overall times ranging from just over 5 days to 16 days.  Of course the Alps will not let the route…

The route for the Alberta Rockies 700 is a 700 km (435 mile) course consisting of about 80% gravel from Coleman to Hinton, Alberta.  Following the front range of the Canadian Rockies, riders are assured of massive climbs and eye-watering descents.  Riders must also be ready for long, remote stretches relying only on what he or she can carry.  Water crossings are plentiful, but other supplies will be harder to find.  The route is perfect for a hardtail 29er.  The…

The French Divide is more than 2100 km of bikepacking with a maximum time cut-off of 15 days following mostly gravel roads with about 30% of the route being pavement.  The route showcases some of the most beautiful parts of France and the exact route for 2018 will be released in June.  The French Divide begins on August 4th.

A-Cross The 5

A-Cross The 5

European mountain bikepacking at its finest.  A-Cross the 5 takes riders across five countries in 1200 km beginning and finishing just north of Antwerp in Zandvliet, Belgium.  The official route will be released to participants one week before the event.  Unsupported bikepacking rules apply, and riders must complete the route in 6.5 days maximum.  Both the scenery and customs will vary widely on this route as it passes through five European countries beginning on Sunday, August 19th.
