Hailing from the hip town of Carbondale, Colorado, Defiant Pack makes quality bike bags for the southwest and beyond. There was no hiding the solid community foundation that surrounds the crew at Defiant, as their new shop opening party was packed with like-minded people who love riding bikes and all kinds of adventures.
Defiant Pack has a tightly knit crew of three employees, including Founder/Designer Kevin, Co-Founder/Sales Manager Geoff, and Shop Manager/Sewer Megan, who is also Kevin’s wife. Kevin began receiving special requests for bikepacking gear in 2012 while working for UpSki, a manufacturer of gear for wind mountaineering and wind powered up-hill snow skiing. After two years of making bike bags under the UpSki brand, Defiant Pack was born.
We celebrated the famed Carbondale “First Friday” on September 2nd with the Defiant crew and community at their new shop.
