It’s that time of the year again, when almost all Tour Divide racers have returned home, reveling in their once-in-a-lifetime experiences on this epic route. There are certain towns and individuals along the route that embrace the Tour Divide more than most. While racers must take care of and support themselves, trail angles such as Kathy from Ovando and Russ from the High Country Lodge in Montana get bombarded with hundreds of racers. Says Kathy after a busy day on the divide… “Been a crazy day with scratches, illnesses and counseling.” Both, however, take the time to not only tend to racers but capture the true spirit of the Tour Divide with their raw photos of the racers on route. Also found along the route near Breckenridge is the talented Linda Guerrette, from Linda Guerrette Photography. It’s always a treat to run into Linda, because Breckenridge is beyond the halfway point. Below is a list of finishers in order from Trackleaders.com. For everyone that finished this beast of a race called the Tour Divide, congrats!

Can I get you a photo of myself on route?

  2. Please check your results, You have missed one significant finisher. Rob Adams from Boise, Idaho, finished in approximately 21 days and 19 hours, very near Mike Dicken from Lander Wyoming. This would make Rob the first finisher over 60. Rob’s Tracker apparently quit recording at mile 2679, but he finished, very near Mike Dicken, and can send you copies of his finish photo.
    Thanks for correcting this error.

Thanks Ken, our results are based on the trackleaders leaderboard, so that is why he was left off. I will correct this asap.

Thanks for the heads up! Great job, Rob!

    Neil.

I’ve some pics of John Russell and Christien Smeja which I’ll send over to your email tonight. Also Christien finished with John behind Alex – trackleaders is out by 1 hour as his Spot failed to start on day one and when Scott added it the time was somehow out by one hour.

There was a rider with no Spot who finished approx 2 hours behind me, so 25d 13hrs: Domingo Cullen from the UK. I’ve seen a pic of him somewhere online and will send it also if I can refind it, or maybe I have one from Jeff Sharp’s place.

    Cheers,

    Dave

Will you be updating this list? There are a few of us marked as finishers who are missing above, and I know I would really like to be included. Finishing the Tour Divide race was amazing and I am honored to be in the family.

    Kind regards,
    Bonnie
